Jesus said, Whoever finds the world and becomes rich, let him renounce the world. (110)
What we see all around us is an illusion. The essence of everything is Divine Light–God himself. To truly “find” something is to find its real nature, its Self. God is the Self of the world, and whoever finds God is rich indeed because God is everything and even more: Transcendent Infinity. So he who finds the world finds the totality of Being. When that is found he should deny and renounce the world as he formerly saw it. Then he must affirm and relate to the world in a divine manner. Rejecting the world because of apparent faults is no wisdom at all; but renouncing the false impressions of the world and affirming the truth of its nature is the highest wisdom.
